Adam Trombly, Director of Project Earth for the Institute for Advanced Studies at Aspen has proven to be one of the most influential and unorthodox scientists of his generation. In 1980 Adam and colleague Joseph Kahn designed and applied for patents for the Closed Path Homopolar Generator, a potentially revolutionary design for super efficient generation of electrical power. In June of 1982, International Letters of Patent were published by the International Patent Cooperation Treaty Organization. (Patent Publication Number WO82/02126 (http://www.wipo.int/patentscope/search/en/WO1982002126))

In 1983 Adam began to dedicate his efforts to Project Earth. The late R Buckminster Fuller is quoted as saying, "Project Earth is a human design experiment. It will be incumbent on human beings throughout the Earth to become a living network, to demonstrate the power of working synergistically with their environment to insure a future worth living in."

In 1984 Adam was awarded the RJ Reynolds III Endowment for his efforts with Project Earth. I spoke to the late Mr. Reynolds during a Tesla Society Conference in Colorado Springs in 1988. He said: "Many people approach me and ask me and my family to support their work. After I heard Adam speak at two separate International Conferences, I approached him! I had never done that before. Adam has never ceased to amaze me. When you know Adam, you begin to see both the present and the future through his eyes. When you see the world like he does then there is this urgency that takes a hold of you to do whatever you can to make a difference for the better. I could not be happier with his work. We all need to listen to this man."

As the eighties progressed, copies of the Closed Path Homopolar Generator Patent had circulated throughout the world. One scientist, Paramahamsa Tewari, who was then Head of Quality Control for the Tarapore Atomic Power Station in Trombay, India, received permission to carry out experiments with the design. In 1986, Tewari (with the blessing of the late Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi) published results of experiments carried out with a crude facsimile of the machine described in the patent. In the American Industrial Journal, Magnets, Tewari wrote, 'The test results have shown an efficiency of the machine above 250%." It was the first time in human history that claims of greater than 100% output had been independently verified by a bona fide third party using the description of the art provided by a patent document.

This further propelled Adam and Project Earth into the international spotlight. I ran into Adam next at the largest New Energy Technology conference ever held (even up to this point) in Hanover, Germany in 1987. Paramahamsa Tewari had brought his rather crude facsimile of the Trombly/Kahn generator. The next day, Adam gave one of those lectures with an impact that never seems to leave you.

Adam continued his research into new energy technologies with colleague David Farnsworth. In June, 1989, in New York City, Trombly and Farnsworth physically demonstrated a small solid state electrical transformer that measurably showed an efficiency of 54:1. Adam then walked down the street to the United Nations to give an address. From the point of view of one who witnessed this event firsthand, I can't believe the entire world didn't change as a result. One of the reasons I asked Adam if I could write this piece is because it is now ten* years later and the American people, in particular, have still not gotten the message that there is an entirely new and benign option to the current death spiral of humanity. As the result of ignoring the opportunity that was presented on that day in 1989, the world still suffers under the tyranny of fossil fuels and a global power structure which seems bent on the eradication of all species.

Today Adam continues to pursue the work of Project Earth in spite of the fact that in his view the destabilization of Planet Earth has reached critical, even nearly irreversible proportions.

All I have to add for Nexus is that Adam is the real deal, and I look forward to Thrive coming out. I don?t know for sure, but I would not be surprised if it is dedicated to Brian?s memory, as he is on the show, too. So, I am trying to get my Brian essay done in the next month. We will see. I am working long hours, as usual, so may not get it done in time for the premier, but will certainly get it done this year.

Adam is the only person I know of like Dennis, where if people heard their life's stories, all of them, they would dismiss them as tall-tale telling.

Adam Trombly joined the show and had so much information to impart that we broke it into two parts, aired Tuesday October 11th and again on Tuesday, October 18th.

Adam enthralled us with his vast knowledge and wisdom, adding fascinating anecdotes and tying it all up with not only his great skill of presentation, but his sense of humour, as well.

I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat as Adam spoke of his childhood and career, adding some hair-raising incidents that he had been through.

He speaks with passion and one can sense the joy in what he does and cannot help but get caught up in every word.? The scope of Adam’s knowledge in science was a little intimidating for someone like me, who appreciates and respects it, but is....okay, I’ll say it.....clueless.? But Adam has such an incredible way of explaining things that I sat spellbound; completely caught up in the zone right along with him.

So many, many thanks to Adam for taking the time out of his busy schedule to be on the show and we wish him continued success in the future.

What a gap in my education not knowing about Adam Trombly, Lilly waves, frequency following response, the biological-weapons program targeting aliens (what other proof for alien existence is needed?), the relentless suppression for free energy, etc. This is vital information that everyone should be aware of!

Seriously, I seldom hear something I can (almost) 100% agree. So many spot on observations.

The only thing that left me wondering is why, having been plummeted, robbed, cheated by the system, Adam still believe in change via political means - by forcing state in to something sane. I consider state and those that represent it (be it government or corporations) to be the core of the problem, the very decaying heart of it. Maybe I just missed something.

Definitely non-violence is a way - because every system brought in by force will live by it. It is simple application of magic. And by same application - one serving coercion opens one for being coerced - and state is coercion embodied.

His family had money, then had it taken away.
So did Adam for that matter, he lost everything he had only to build it back up and have it taken away again.

He does not go into much detail about that in the interview, but I am aware of what he has lost.

FWIW, the solution to world population pressure is zero population growth. Pop. redux programs to reduce global numbers from 7 gigs to 1 or 2 gigs ... are illegal, immoral, inhuman ... and all those that hold such views are a threat to mankind. Lock the fcukers up and throw away the fcukin' key. <------------ That's well-placed profanity, if anyone's wondering.

To wit, you can't get from 7 billion to 2 (or 1) wearing angel wings. Culling is a dirty word, but that's exactly what is required to effect the removal of 5 billion humans from the equation. But here's the sobering reality: the good Earth has room enough for at least twice the current population numbers. Helsinki, 7 billion can live in Texas with plenty of space for each individual even without building a second floor!

The thing that is actually preventing proper human population management is not raw population numbers ... but the greed and self-grandiosity of the power pyramid. Specifically, its capstone of liars, leeches, looters, and landgrabbers ... and their servile lemmings in the top part of the ziggurat (e.g. like Holdren).

ps: Again, zero population growth rate is a rational, moral and human solution to the population pressure against a finite resource base. And if we get started in that direction now, we'll be just fine and stabilize well below the carrying capacity of the good Earth.

ps2: 14 billion is a more realistic understanding of the Earth's carrying capacity. 1 or 2 billion or the Georgia Guidestone number of 500 million ... are numbers in the narrative of the power pyramid. True enough, they need to reduce the numbers for their ongoing perch atop the power pyramid. But they do not represent humanity as much as we do ... the mathematics of the square pyramid guarantees that the base and the bulk of the ziggurat is the true voice of humanity.

Adam said that he did not envy Holdren being Obama's science adviser (with what Adam has discovered about Obama) and that he thought of Holdren as very intelligent having met him.
I think you can sense Adam's opinion of the political structure in general.
Personally I think All politicians are the spawn of satan ;p but Adam having known so many personally does not agree with me.

I do not nor have I ever met Holdren but I do not appreciate or support his outlook.

Intelligence in and of itself has no Ethical code, its what people do with that intelligence that matters.

Again, good question for Adam in the Live interview, I assure you he is not shy and will answer any question you ask him.
