Disaster Central! AKA: The RSOE EDIS Emergency & Disaster Information Service. (http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index2.php?lang=#)

Earthquakes, floods, HAZMAT situations, Nuclear incidents, traffic accidents... everything but BigFoot sightings, all on one page!

Fred
PS: Yes, I'll look for a BigFoot page someday.

the details are:

Snow was falling along the Grapevine on Sunday morning as the National Weather Service warned of high winds, heavy rain and dangerous surf. The NWS issued a high surf and high wind advisory, saying heavy showers and thunderstorms were possible beginning Sunday and going into Monday. Officials said the rain could produce local flooding and that the winds might be powerful enough to down trees. Flash-flood advisories were in place in some Valley areas. The snow level is expected to drop to 5,000 feet. The California Highway Patrol says Interstate 5 remains open but could close if conditions worsen. The NWS forecasts periods of rain through Thursday.

Thanks for the info Richard. I could not find any on the incident when I looked. Either I missed it somehow, or the info was updated. Regardless, good find. :)
