    Re: a new low

I wonder if any gay couples that are hated by their families, erstwhile friends, and society in general might give this 'new low' a 2nd look? As for me, I'm not an advocate of weddings much less wedding gifts but it seems a fitting slap in the face to anyone wanting to do it... :O)

After a little thought, it occurred to me that we have several choices here among these two:
Commit a faux pas by asking for wedding donations or buy the Supreme Court...it's another one of those tough decisions that unfortunately we all have to make.

Speaking as a 'gay' person, No I wouldn't give this a second look. Certain politicians have been keeping the gay community on the hook for years by promising changes. Those changes never happen, even when their party has control. If they can't make the changes when they have control that tells me they don't care about me. The promises are just tossed out there as a hook on a string to try to keep me voting their way. It also proves to me that the left/right paradigm is still being used to divide us. "Those people hate you. We love you! Vote for us!" Bullshit.
