Another fracking earthquake in Texas ? 3.4M

"Earth changes" may not be spiritual or cosmic in origin. IMHO, many are man-made and related to the extraction and burning of fossil fuels that should never be dug up in the first place. Maybe you think man-made global warming is a hoax, but the fossil fuel industry can't spin fast enough to keep up with the horrors of fracking. US-based oil companies f*cked over Nigeria and so many other places. Now the US is getting fracked. It seems that not only does fracking poison water and soil, it also causes earthquakes! And guess who is lobbying to dismantle the EPA (which should be regulating fracking)? I'll let you connect the dots...

Also, it is total BS that fracking will make the US energy independent. That natural gas is being sold to other countries, not staying in the US. The myth of energy independence is more PR spin. Some people say wake up to the NWO, wake up to UFOs and reptilians, etc. I say WAKE UP TO THE FACT THAT UNACCOUNTABLE CORPORATIONS ARE POISONING US AND THEY HAVE BOUGHT OFF EVERY REGULATORY AGENCY THAT CAN STOP THEM. Almost everything else is a distraction, IMHO.

That makes, at least, four quakes in Texas this month.

And scientists, the military, and frackers themselves have known it for years.

At the centre of man-made seismic activity lies brute force used by the shale gas industry. It routinely employs hydraulic fracturing, a technology that sends highly-pressurized blasts of sand, chemicals and millions of gallons of water into deep rocks.

In fact, the industry actually induces small and controlled “micro seismic” events to release methane stubbornly trapped in rock as dense as concrete.

While we could debate over fossil fuels and climate change for ages, I agree that fracking is a disgusting practice. The dangers to the surrounding communities is so obvious, it is disturbing that they can even think of justifying it.

I agree and want to keep this discussion to fracking. It is sort of encouraging that disgust for fracking seems to cross all kinds of political, ideological and social divisions (like GMOs does).

We really need to start consuming only the necessary!! In other worlds start shaking down all corporations and financial systems to the point of bankruptcy, and collapse the whole system that is now poisoning everything literally.

i don't fracking believe it, and in know you don't fracking believe it either .. but i will keep my fracking mouth closed on this for the most part ..

a few months back i was looking into how to get training to learn about it..but mahh... to much work

i think the bigger problem isn't the fracking itself or the environmental damage..

It is the insanity of all the wasted energy .. sending what we pull out of the ground that is needed hear ..somewhere else.. and importing what is pulled out of the ground from somewhere else ..

the entire system we have is a ton of waste to and ounce of output ..and it is for the only reason of getting as many people hand in the profit stream as possible between it being take out of the ground and turining on your lights and filling your gas tank ..
