The Philadelphia Experiment tonite, started 9pm, SyFy channel

I didn't realize they did a remake in 2012! I don't like this one as well as the original. I'm going to rent the original. This is kind of interesting tho. People have thought that the story is fictional, but it actually happened. It was a creation from the experiments done at Montauk. I spoke of this before. They were experimenting with invisibility -- thinking that they'd only make a ship APPEAR invisible to enemy detection.

Turned out the experiment went into time travel & actual invisibility. They didn't have enough information, and didn't prepare the guys enough. No one should have had any metals on them. THis included zippers, pocket change, rivets. That created problems. Some were found actually melted into the metal walls of the ship.

Actually, I don't like this re-make. It's changed & made much more fictional. The original film stuck pretty much to what actually happened.

I would've watched if i had seen this yesterday...i'm sure it will be reshown...SyFy movies are always horrendous but i'm sure a cult classic or two will eventually emerge.

Actually! No worries that you missed it! I disliked it so much I changed the channel! This re-make was nowhere near as good as the original. So this post is an incentive to get & watch the original Philadelphia Experiment film. That one was based on what's believed to have actually happened.

what again...i've just about got it memorized...read the book a couple of times, too... :O)...I did watch it a few weeks ago. I just realized i always confuse The Final Countdown with the Philadelphia Experiment...i've only seen it once or twice which means i'll have to watch it again. if i remember correctly i didn't like it very much...though the book was very interesting.

Wow! Didn't realize I'm in the presence of such an avid Philadelphia Experiment connoiseur! LOL. I've never read the book, tho I've got a book (of my thousands of intriguing books) that I just took out. Got it in '09, but never read it. Kept getting too many others.

Just took out & am reading this along with another one or 2 at the time. Called "The Philadelphia Experiment & Other UFO Conspiracies" by Brad Steiger with Alfred Bielek & Sherery Hanson Steiger. Funny "coincidence" that I had taken this book out a few days ago from one of my 6 foot book shelves and then this movie comes on.

Interesting story about Al Bielek. He says he was one of the brothers who were ON the Eldridge ship during the Philadelphia Experiment -- the 2 who jumped overboard and then found themselves falling thru a tunnel & coming out in the future. His story is that those secretive scientist guys know how to put a soul in a new body -- a type of 'instant and manufactured reincarnation'. He claims that his soul was 'put into' the body of Al Bielek.

Intriguing thought. Sounds so totally fictional . . . but I think we'd be surprised how many of those sci-fi things actually happened . . .

I am very confident that our Military has indeed broken into cosmic space and became aware that we are under a prison matrix. This would explain much with our narrative in this area...
More specifically, our leaders job is to keep us from this information and get us to occupy ourselves within the small space we do have. Or is it don't have....

Not that it will be a big burden if this information is released as this will just create another paradigm of control.

    War in celestial space.....
