White House chef says future food to be made from chemicals, not real food ingredients

(NaturalNews) Every two years, a consortium of Europe's most active minds converges at the Euroscience Open Forum to discuss the latest advancements in scientific research and innovation. But this year's meeting, which was held in Dublin, Ireland, featured a disturbing workshop held by White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses, who explained and demonstrated to audience members how the food of the future will not actually contain real food, but rather various combinations of lab-created chemicals that mimic food.

As reported on Six One News, a feature of RTE News in Ireland, Yosses and several other food experts showed a live audience how to create various foams, gels, solids, and other food-like textured substances out of chemicals that, when combined, resemble things like lemon souffle and chocolate pudding. These food scientists then shared samples of these laboratory creations with audience members, who were told that the imitation food products are the wave of the future.

"You take the (chemical) compounds and you make the dish," said Herve This of AgroParisTech, a science and research organization based in France, to RTE News in Ireland. "So you have no vegetables, no fruit, no meat, no fish, nothing except compounds. And you have to create a shape, a color, a taste, a freshness, a pungency, an astringency, everything," he added, likening traditional cooking methods such as "cracking eggs" and using real food ingredients to "living in the Middle Ages."

White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses shares a similar sentiment, as he believes creating fake food out of chemicals will actually help improve the quality of cuisine and availability of food. He told Six One News that chefs can use the information he presented to gain a "(better) understanding of what they're doing and use that to improve the processes, to improve not only the flavor but the hygiene, the longevity, how to store things."

"All that comes about from understanding cooking on a really molecular level," he added, with sort of a twinkle in his eye. But when he was asked if these same chemical food experiments are used at the White House in meals served to the Obamas, Yosses laughed and said no, explaining that "the First Family is looking for traditional, sort of 'happy recipes' that people are familiar with."

While intended to specifically showcase some of the more offbeat scientific developments circulating the "technosphere" today, the Euroscience Open Forum, including the troubling seminar on chemical-based "foods of the future," is actually a troubling foreshadowing of what may soon come for Americans. Some scientists are apparently of the strong persuasion that man-made food items are preferable to natural foods, and the former is what they hope the public will eventually accept.

The average person, in other words, will eventually be expected to happily eat green gelatin-like blobs made of chemical compounds, along with ambiguous cracker products that resemble "Soylent Green," while the White House and the world's other elites continue to eat wholesome, natural foods, including those hand-picked from Michelle Obama's organic garden.

This reminds me when the astronauts first went to space, they were given mostly pills with some water (coming from their p i ss - eurk). Within the second or third trip, they were back to floating real food.

We already have a chemical world for cuisine, look at McDonals!! See how healthy we become on it....

It also makes me remember when I first met my husband, he was complaining about our tomatoes here being like tennis balls in taste. I thought he was arrogant until the day I went to Turkey and tasted their tomatoes. WOW, my childhood taste came back. They were so good, those tomatoes cultivated with traditional methods.

5 years later, I go back to Turkey. By then, they had almost no traditionally grown food and their tomatoes had turned to tennis balls. So I have been eating tennis balls since. No comparison.

The "White House pastry chef" is hardly a representative of the Administration, if that is the insinuation. I am no huge Obama fan, but I must say admire the First Lady's commitment to homegrown vegetables. She dug up the White House lawn to plant an organic veggie garden.

I am fine with the first lady doing this.. as i am no fan of the american lawn .. lol .. it is one to make these choices for yourself and set an expample.. it is a matter of not going to the point of legislating this ...

as for the chemicle made foods .. we are already in the mostly chemicle made food zone..

now for fruits and vegies and fish we can easily farm and use gardens toproduce as much as we need ..

meat of the future like chicken and beef .. and i am just throwing this out to rile up the people in this thread .. meat will be gotten from cloned cultures that continually grow and get trimmed down when harvested and then grown again .. in a controlled toxin free environment ..

compared to the meat beef and chicken we eat today ..it will be an improvement .. i myself see myself with a mini fish farm for my own consumption ..someday ..

I'd admire her "commitment" a lot more if she had actually been the one to do the digging. I could be wrong, but she probably had others do all the work. Easy to have "commitment" when you have others to do the labor.

So, just like the Monsanto employees and British royalty, she won't eat, or feed her family what everyone else is expected to consume.

There's a story doing the rounds again, about how Monsanto, one of the world’s largest profiteers of genetically engineered (GE) food, banned GE food from its own corporate canteens!

Monsanto had its pants pulled down by Friends of the Earth in 1999, who revealed that the company was refusing to serve to its own staff the very same GE food that it incessantly foists upon impoverished nations on the premise that it will save populations from starvation. Although it has never been proved, Monsanto constantly claims that GE food is harmless – so why wasn't it serving it in its own office?

In one canteen, run by external provider, Sutcliffe Catering, a notice read that a decision has been taken to remove, as far as practicable, GE soya and maize from all food products served in the canteen. “We have taken the above steps to ensure that you, the customer, can feel confident in the food we serve", the provider said.

If you are saying that people have a choice in whether or not to eat organic or GMO, I'd have to say that is not true. Not everyone has a huge lawn to convert into an organic garden and not everyone can afford to buy all organic, unadulterated food.....

but they can afford i phones with 50 -100$ a month payment plans ..if it matters to someone to do they will do it .. there are more options every day ..

the guy wasn't ordered he was given the opportunity to do it ..you don't even have to worry about all organic .. stay away from grain fed beef ..start hand making your bread and pasta .. infact try to stay way from anything thats been in a box.. avoid high fruictose corn syrup ..google the additive to anything you buy in a box and see if you really want that in your body ..

and best of all what has workerd for me .. put faith in your bodies ability to remove toxins..and listen to it after you eat something ..

eat the cheap factory food and the stuff from the box to pay for the best health insurance plan you can get .. to treat all the diseases and conditions you get from the cheap food ..

my parents spend about 300-400 a month on the medications the get ..with all the insurances they have ..and a lot of their conditons are from the food they have been trained to eat ..you pay for it somehow ..cut out whole pasturized and homogonized milk .. grain fed beef all deep fried food and most stuff in a box with a long list of preservatives .. then do a little reading to find which non organic fruits and veggies have the least pesticide residue .. filter all the water you drink .. and drink more water ..

the powers that be gave up on the cull idea .. they found it much more profitable .. to feed us lots of food to make us sick then treat us with medications to suck every last dime from us they can untill what we eat or what the doctors give us kills us ..
