    Radiation Coming From Japan

I'm curious to see if anyone else is concerned about radiation in Japan and what changes you may be making in your lives. I'm thinking twice about starting up a garden and no longer buying California produce and buying produce that was imported from South America. In addition, I am not spending the entire day outside say on hikes and am keeping the sunroof in my car closed all the time (unusual for me).

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

Thanks for putting up this survey. Only there isn't a place that applies to me. I put away food to last for the next year so I will not be going out to grocery store to purchase. Three freezers full, large food storage area full. I froze enough bread for a long time and the purchased enough flour, meal, baking powder, sugar, milk, etc. We have a large outside tanks full of propane and a small cooker, three generators if the power goes off. Enough medication for myself and the potassium iodide to last for seveal years. Battery powered DVD player, candles batters, several boxes full. I have supplied these things for the past 3 years. I put away bottles of water for the past year and is stored. We are using that non radiated water now and not using tap water for anything but baths, hot tub and dish washing. Now we just have to worry about California being flooded out or falling into the sea. Nice thought hu? Have I missed anything? I am sure I have and won't know it until I need it and will not find it. Oh lots of MMS , colodial silver, matches, clothes, gasoline in tanks. An 8 foot hot tub full of water to flush the toilets if the water is turned off. enough emma shut up here.

What about when you run out? No matter how well stocked you are, that day will be someday. And it will certainly be before plutonium degrades! I have a good deal of food stocked as well, but I don't want to use any of it unless it is a real emergency.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

No one can plan that far ahead when you live in cities. The people in the city will ban together and get things going. I am not an island unto myself here and people will get together and work things out. None of us will be an island alone when this situation falls upon us if and when it does. We have to work with everyone around us, and it is the same people who will not listen or believe us today but when this chit hits the fan and they are hit smack in the face with it things will change. (or they will die)

When that happens they will need someone around them who is educated and in the know about what this is all about and that is why I am here in this place where I am at this time. That is my job. I will teach them what they need to know in order for us all to survive.

I am not only a Registered Nurse, I am also a Teacher and have a degree in Psychology (BSN, BS ) and all that will be put into play if and when this happens.

I do not worry about this because I know why I am here where I am at this point of time and what my task will be. This I know and was shown 30 years ago. But for some reason I saw myself underground in a space teaching others in a place where they would come to learn. This I saw in a vision and know that is what awaits me.

Thank you so much for this thread because people do need to stop and think about this. There is more to do than sitting on the computer and contemplating. This is where we belong at this moment in time, but that can change on a dime, As we do not know who or what will be affected.

We will just have to see and do our best to help those around us as we are doing now by being in this forum. And might add, with wonderful helping minds, like yourself. A great team here, and I am grateful for it. And for you. Emma

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

I am not buying things I used to buy that are from Japan such as Chlorella and some fish. I am limiting my milk consumption to just a bit in my tea. I started taking natural iodine from kelp March 13th, have had a half dozen infrared saunas for detox, am using bentonite clay products for heavy metal and irridation release. Apart from that I personally feel that keeping a high vibration and positive outlook about my life in general is best for me, I do value all the threads here that keep us up to date on the current Japan crisis, and I have a month's food supply handy which I got together before the earthquakes.

Here in OZ, I think for the mo we are resonably safe...for the mo...however I will not be buying any produce from an area within Japan and outlaying areas of Asia...no no.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

None of the choices fit me. I am taking kelp and zeolites for mitigate of radiation effects as well as removing heavy metals, and flouride.
And letting the chips fall as they may. I feel that a lot of the alternate media is fear based.
For whatever reason causes it, my attitude on death is if it happens it's time for a big self high five, then on to the next adventure.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

I'm keeping a close eye on the situation. I believe, as always, there will be problems that eventually come from 'left field'. The pacific has the radiation, the atlantic has the BP oil spill poisons. All the food producing areas have been hit by bad weather this year including what's happening in the US this week. So the food crisis is still on the books with radiation and dead oceans chucked in for luck.
I live in the southern hemisphere but I'm not thinking that we can't be affected by all this...we are all on spinning ball of rock flying through space and we're all in this together. That's why I'm not voting in the poll. There are lot's of downunder Nexians very very concerned but still able to buy and grow non-radioactive food just because of the planets weather systems. I wouldn't if I lived in CA or WA for example...
We are at the start of something, that much is clear but what exactly...? Wouldn't it be ironic if we were drip fed information 'grow your own food...get off the grid etc' when actually that would be a sure fire way to consume radioactive particles?

"Personally, I don?t think there?s intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?? Bob Monkhouse.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

I didn't vote on the poll because I don't think there is a suitable braket.

I live in South Ozzy so I'm fairly safe for now but I know its coming down here eventually, I'm careful what I buy and eat and have started taking kelp along with all the other vitamins and my own coloidal silver.

HEY ROSS, I've been watching SBS news and at the end when they do the weather around the world you can see the(isobars)? swirling around and coming down to OZ,they are only shown for a brief second or two but its worth looking for, sort of gives you an idea about whats coming, Oh and I don't know about you but I've not heard a peep from bloody gillards mob about how ozzies should be preparing for the eventual arrival of said radiation????

Oh and I also know about rosemary and olavera for help with the bodies fight against radioactivity...........and hooch but havent got any )-:

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

I didn't do poll cause none fit. I have a huge box in garage that has everything for four people for 4 months. Those ready made meals. Has h20 medical heating blanket... Those silver ones. A cooking stove it is supposed to have what you need. I also bought a lot of bottled water b4 the radiation. I got tons of dry milk, I have stopped drinking milk and no dairy. I have a water filter but has yet to be installed. I have been taking lugols since the beginning. My kids are taking kelp pills now everyday. I am on west coast CA. So especially bc of my kids I am a bit worried. That's about it. I am trying to stay on top of it ... Reading here and on YouTube dutchsinse is great. But I am really the only person I know thatistaken any precautions. Seriously no one I know is doing a thing.... It is just all too surreal.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

Likewise, being in Perth, Western Australia, I didn't feel it appropriate for me to vote. Not being complacent either!

If any of you are still checking in at PA2 and have been following the 'THAT WAS MASSIVE 9.1 in Japan (Tsunami)' thread, you'll remember SKIBADABOMSKI. He is also a member here at Nexus, under the more 'user-friendly' name of SKI! Originally from England, he lives in Japan with his Japanese wife and his Japanese performance partner.

Yesterday I caught up with SKI at the Fremantle Street Artists Festival, here in sunny Western Australia. What a humble man! His act, with his Japanese friend, was hilarious, energetic and joyful.

I am inspired by his heart-felt choice to return with his Japanese wife/manager and performance partner to Japan tomorrow. They want to be in Japan and my heart melted when he pointed to them both and simply asked, "How can I abandon them?" He exemplifies to me the deepest meaning of the word 'courage'....from the heart! In that moment the situation in Japan became more real and human than it could from watching videos and reading news items.

We here in Perth live in a privileged bubble, not just isolated geographically from other large population centres but also seemingly disconnected in awareness and 'connectedness' from what really matters, the bigger picture. I just pray that it doesn't take something like a natural disaster in our midst to wake us up from our collective trance. While much of Australia and the world at large has been mopping up, cleaning up, putting out fires, rebuilding, etc we here in Perth are consumed by whether the Eagles or the Dockers (local football teams in the national competition) won or lost at the weekend, and many other mind-numbing MSM-driven consumer distractions.

As SKI found, talking to people who'd watched the show, people here seem to think the situation in Japan is 'old news', in the past, of no current relevance. The MSM, especially with all the 'Royal Wedding 'cr*p', has done an impressive job. God help us all when/if the reality of what very well lies ahead of us sinks in!

    Graeme

We are all going to die someday,i am not giving into fear,i am however not eating any seafood of any kind anymore, funny thats actually a good excuse for me to go completely vegan hehe well almost i still like my cheese and pizza ,to be honest tho unless you have your own garden and you grow EVERYTHING that you eat you are most likely ingesting things that aren't that great for your body, and even if you grow your own garden the radiation is in the atmosphere so you cant get away from it unless your in south america where much of it isnt going that way from what i understand.

    Re: Radiation Coming From Japan

Is anyone aware of this. Trishsgate (Trish) sent it to me a few days ago and I ordered 4 bottles of it today from amazon.com but it can be purchased from a local grocery store much cheaper. It is supposed to be good for just about everything. I hope I have not overlooked where someone already posted it here. If so....

ADVICE: Apple pectin can 'sweep out radioactive dust particles from intestinal tract'
    Sunday, 10 April 2011 17:32 Marie Neptune

What to do about the radioactive particles coming our way from Fukushima? -- "Apple pectin has the ability to sweep out radioactive dust particles from the intestinal tract, and it was used extensively after the Chernobyl nuclear plant meltdown." Natural News reminded readers on Apr. 6.[1] -- Robert James Parsons, a journalist specializing in public health based in Geneva, said Sunday: "If you live in an area where good apples are easily accessible, consider eating apples daily."[2] ...

I think this is another good idea and we are going to need all the help we can get as the days ahead of us are going to be tough ones. It is not going to be easy even if nothing else untoward happens, it is still going to be a very tough row to hoe. Emma

How about a choice that says "I will adjust my diet to the best of my ability according to my limited finances and the sea of propaganda I find myself drowning in." That would be my choice.

Yes, it has become abundantly clear that nobody here cleanly fits into any of the available boxes.
