Post Stand your ground! Trust no-one - except yourself!

Don?t trust me ? for I am the only one explicitly able to do this in respect of myself.

Consider not trusting others, your other-selves, for they are not you in this moment.

    Always trust yourself!

It doesn?t matter which person it is, regardless of their perceived status greater or lesser, if you permit such things to be recognized. Perhaps they have been ?approved? or anointed by greatly respected individuals ? it changes nothing. We are people, souls and everything is perfect, purposeful, and all of is abstractly valid and worthy of consideration to you, if you want to do that. You are the only one who can decide what to accept or reject, and you can only really trust yourself.

The highest trust, which is of such a quality, that you would even lay down your life for the consequences, is a unique and powerful construct. You alone can decide if you would trust another to that extent and trust at this level it is a spiritual as well as mental dynamic. I would think that trust at this level is found in the fabric of group souls.

I suggest that no such thing could be fully forged on an internet forum! Furthermore, if you believe it can, perhaps there is delusion.

It is perfectly possible to respect an opinion and be informed by it, but not necessarily trusting its source or its messenger.

Blind trust is irresponsible. It admits the giving away of your birth-right of free-will, discernment, power and self-control. You have a responsibility to discern the truth for yourself, so that you can accept the truth and reject that which does not resonate with you as truth.

This is an opinion only and I understand I have no right to tell you what to do, but I do have a right to express the idea. I do it because I can and I want to.

It is my belief that we are a hairs breadth away from finally realizing how very powerful we are and what awesome responsibility we have for that power. Those dark guardians that have fought a well played battle plan are finding the wheels of fortune turning against them.

In these closing chapters please don't get yourselves unnecessarily distracted from that path. Please don?t give power away to people who do understand it, before you understand it yourself.

    Stand in your own power.

    The truth is within you!

    Stand your ground!

This is great John and so true. I resonate with every word of this but could not have put it together quite so elegantly. We live and learn. We believe things one day. The next maybe realize that belief yesterday was just a stepping stone to what we see today in which we now belief, and tomorro that belief will change as our ability to see differently enlarges and grows, and next week we will see it even more differently as other beliefs may come in conflict with it. This can be a constant changing as we become more accustomed to the changing 'light' within us. So much to absorb that someone new can be thrown into questioning themselves. I say don't question your sanity, just know that the constant changing is growth and not insanity.

Thank you for this message. I hope those young is spirit can absorb it and understand. Emma

Re: Stand your ground! Trust no-one - except yourself!

John, thank you for your plea for self-trust. It is such a key issue for this community working through the current issues and also for humanity at large in these times.

We are conditioned early in life to trust and obey adults and other authority figures without question. It is hard to break this conditioning.

It is also hard to trust one's own judgement. It is hard to even determine how one really feels about anything, with so many conflicting internal layers and fragments, some of which have essentially been programmed by parents or society and so are not even really one's own feelings. It can seem a great relief to turn one's judgement over to an external voice that sounds confident and sure. But this inevitably leads to unpleasant and unfortunate experiences, even when the external voices one decides to trust are wise and well-intended.

The journey through the human experience is a journey toward sovereignty. When you become sovereign you are done here, and ready for the next level. To become sovereign you must become whole. You must integrate the inner layers and fragments until there is only one unified inner voice aligned with Truth. Then trust becomes irrelevant, although faith is strengthened and becomes a central guiding force.

But until we get there we all find ourselves in positions where we must trust ourselves and others before we possess the discernment to know if we or others are trustworthy. (Even the common act of driving down the highway requires immense trust that the drivers on the other side of that thin yellow line will not suddenly veer into you. But is this trust deserved?) And so we inevitably get burned. And we learn. And when we have been burned a thousand times and still find ourselves here and growing and slowly becoming more sovereign, we begin to have faith in the process.

You can accelerate the process by deliberately taking responsibility for your own experience and growth. Every outer experience reflects inner conditions. No exceptions. Every betrayal is a self-betrayal. No exceptions. This may seem a ridiculous statement until you've plunged the depths of your inner world. You will find that we all hide behind the evil of others to protect our own self-image, which is false although we are afraid it is true and so hide the deception from ourselves. But underneath the false self-image which we mistakenly identify with is our true identity. It is something glorious. It already has a built-in, infallible truth-meter. When we chose to re-identify with our soul nature, all of its inherent attributes come to the fore. In the end we become grateful for the process that gave us the opportunity to choose, including even the betrayer role-players who helped shake us out of our self-induced trance.
