This material is not for everyone, so I only recommend it to serious seekers. It is very long, difficult to read and difficult to believe at times (as if it were mythical), and it has a decidedly religious tone. It was recommended to me by a spirit being belonging to the collective responsible for facilitating the delivery of this book to humanity along with others such as A Course in Miracles and the Twelve Step program. She said to me that what is contained in this book is not necessarily historical truth, but rather it is a joint creation of spirit and the mass consciousness of humanity designed to create an opening in the consciousness of the reader for direct truth to enter. There are some stunningly beautiful passages in this book for those willing to do the work to find them. These passages are written so that their impact is fullest within the context of the mythos, so I will not dilute them by quoting any of them here.

Both seem very interesting, and since autumn is upon us again here in my place of residence, it

All names can be taken to be created for their vibrational characteristics. The information buried within has to do with a deeper understanding of love and light, and the attempts of infinite intelligence through many messengers to teach/learn those entities of your sphere.

There's no shame in that! I think it is a revelation tailored for a specific time period (1930's) and for people of a certain background and inclination. For them it is like an advanced and extended Bible (which can also be intimidating). I only read it because a spirit being recommended it. Actually she said "we would like you to read it," which is more than a recommendation but less than a request. I love this spirit and so labored through every one of the nearly 2000 pages and was rewarded for the effort.

The collective mentioned above has delivered a variety of books for people of other backgrounds and inclinations, attempting to address the needs of many. The essential truths embedded in each are the same, just wrapped in different packages.

I noticed this too. It is an extremely brief but probably accurate statement as far as it goes. The "series of discarnate entities" would be the collective I mentioned, which is composed of many spirits who have completed their incarnational cycles on Earth, and have thus achieved a measure of mastery in that they have mastered the lessons of the Earth plane and so are sometimes referred to as Ascended Masters. What they have in common is intimate familiarity with the human experience and an orientation of service-to-others (in Law of One terminology) and as such can make for very beneficial spiritual guides to those still here, many of whom they have strong soul connections with.

As for the lack of Council approval, I don't know about that. This collective has sometimes been referred to historically as "The Great White Brotherhood" by some, although that is not what it calls itself and it is not exclusively of the masculine orientation. It is a vast collective, but only one of a great many collectives in spirit. They have relations with other collectives, but I don't know what their relationship is with the Council Ra refers to.

Myst, There is another book - I wonder if you heard of OAHSPE ?

When I first encountered this reference more than a decade ago, I could not find it when I looked; but in those days, the Internet was still young. I have not come across it in the years since. It does sound interesting.

Thanks for sharing your Urantia story.

I dont place authority in a work because the LOO says it was or was not passed by council.

As you know, Ra rigorously restrained themselves from any statement that would be freewill infringement, so I assume it was just a statement of fact with no bearing.

So I do concur with your conclusions.
