Hotmail issues...anyone having issues?

Last 4 days my hotmail access is down here in OZ...anyone know anything?

Have looked around but nothing concrete as to issues.

Yes Ross,

About six weeks ago or more Hotmail blocked my account. The message said someone had been sending vast amounts of spam from my email account, therefore it has been blocked???? (the only email account I had since 1997 without a glitch/lost much info) to make a long story short and to no avail or response from Microsoft I have not been able to reinstate my account. The help center just has you going around in circles, connections to many charging consultants to fix the problem, email help from the center(what a laugh!!!) and a forum to check out your problem. Nada!!!! I'm really pissed but feel powerless to get this issue addressed thus opened up a gmail account just recently.

Hi Ross,

Got to log out soon but just wanted to say if you haven't gone to the help center and then to the forum you should give it a try as there are numerous people psoting their issues in hope to get an answer. My issue has been posted numerous times but no one seems to know how to get it fixed as of yet

This happened to me about 6 months ago, and they were requesteing all kinds of information from me to reactivate the account. After I sent them everything, they then came back to advise me that I did not procvide them enough information to reactivate the account, which was a complete bunch of BS.

But, I tried it again about a month ago, and lo and behold it was reactivated, and nothing seemed to be missing. Quite strange.

I don't use that account to send anything now though, only check it to see what rubbish has been sent to me.

Gmail is the way to go..

Been there and done that Richard and got a T shirt a couple of weeks ago>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>was still hoping to retrieve my hotmail account and have two accounts hotmail and gmail, but will change my email stat here in a week if I'm still unsuccessful in this retrieval.
