Young bright teenagers (as well as more seasoned campaigners) entering the world of conspiracy get hooked and spend a good portion of their lives believing the dribble they offer, attending conferences and spending hundreds of dollars on books, courses and dvds that line the pockets of the deceivers.
It is a very difficult world to leave for many as their once convincing belief systems collapse on foundations of sand and when they realise they have been had. Of course all their stuff is unverifiable, outlandish and little if any of it ever comes to pass. Then of course when nothing does happen they change the story or the name of the website and so on.
It is almost criminal.
Having had the benefit of studying cults and new religious movements for many years, it is all too evident to see the patterns of those who would deceive and benefit from the pockets of others whilst either knowingly misinforming or doing so in a delusional state.
