Israeli jets bomb Gaza Strip

Israeli aircraft have carried out three bombing attacks on the Palestinian city of Khan Yunes in the Gaza Strip, witnesses say.

The airstrikes targeted areas in eastern and western parts of the city during early hours of Thursday, AFP reported.

Israeli military officials confirmed the attacks, claiming that the air assaults were in response to ?a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip late Wednesday,? a claim not yet verified by any official source in Gaza.

Witnesses said a base, belonging to the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, was also targeted by the Israeli aerial attacks.

There have been no reports of casualties so far.

IRISH COMMENTS: So, I guess that is why they gave so many prisoners in exchanged for one, they where going to bomb them once in Gaza.

Build a wall around a culture. Prevent them from getting food, basic necessities, allow their business to run down, infrastructure to collapse, prohibit them from growing their own food, prevent them from leaving or anyone from entering, and after all this, when they get a little uppity, you bomb them. How does anybody NOT see that Gaza is the Warsaw Ghetto all over again.

Unless the world is willing to take the planet back from these gameplanners, the game will go on.

Hard truths are a harder burden to bear. But the truth seekers are willing to load and drag it. But I don't see much appetite for change from the rest ... who are either too scared to face the hard truths; too ignorant to know them; or too comfortable to bother learning.

You're right. It's really Us against US. The pull towards personal evolution and transformation, and by extension cultural and human transformation has never been stronger or more important. The hope is that people can let go of their distractions in the form of iPhones, TV, sports, shopping and jobs to be able to hear that quiet little voice inside that beckons up to grow. Maybe one of the best things that could happen would be for the grid to be knocked out to eliminate most of those distractions, then, in those quiet moments.. truth, softly at first, but truth that grows louder and clearer with each quiet moment.

That is the thing, it is.

Regardless if you look at it as a simple human thing, then it is bad people doing bad things.

If you look at it from a spiritual prospective, then it is. Because it is a lot of bad people stopping good people from growing.

For me, both Human and Spiritual are one of the same, where both are in a bottle for development.

The longer stuff like that is allowed to carry on, then the simple truth is, neither will be free.

Agree my friend, maybe when the things frying the brain and stopping it from seeing and thinking clearly are gone, then there will be a massive awaking.

However, from what I am seeing, it will not be an awaking off people dancing in the street holding hands, it will be a lot of angry people looking revenge. Sad, but true non the less.

You do realize, I hope, that Gaza Strip has a border with Egypt. Their loving Arab brothers from to the west. Do they help? do they give them food? do they provide electricity? why not? do the Palestinians attack them with rockets every other day? no? so what's their excuse?
What siege is it if they can get what they want from Egypt? Israel would like nothing to do with them (even evicted whole Israeli settlements and communities -against their will - from the Strip), yet they attack and still have the audacity to ask for food, merchandise and electricity. And they get it most of the time. Hundreds of trucks cross the border every day, and they expect it, like it's natural. They've been living in refugee camps for so long it's become ingrained in them.

Siege? Ghetto? Do me a favour, and go buy a map.

I think it was Mark Twain who said that Benjamin Disraeli said "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies and statistics".

I honestly don't know if the statistics are right or not.

I do know that B'Tselem (read Beh-tseh-lem) is a front to the New Israel Fund (extreme Left Wing organization) which is funded by the Ford Foundation and another one that I forgot it's name which is set to undermining and unraveling Israel from the inside out.
The research about the subject was done by an Israeli conspiracy site (providing references and sources throughout) which is in Hebrew, and currently under a virus attack for the past few weeks. What excuse does Israel need? They wanted an autonomy and got it. Israel even gave them guns and trained their security forces (as far as I know). Israel Evicted all Israeli population from the Strip as a one sided attempt to stop further hostilities. What steps do you see the Palestinians doing to stop hostilities?

By the way, as far as I know, when Israel determines that a certain building is used as a terrorist nest or staging area or whatever, they fly out over the area and drop flyers that warn the population to evacuate the building before it is bombed to prevent civilian casualties. Against any sound military tactic.
