Japanese Struggle to Protect Their Food Supply

ONAMI, Japan ? In the fall, as this valley?s rice paddies ripened into a carpet of gold, inspectors came to check for radioactive contamination.

Onami sits just 35 miles northwest of the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, which spewed radioactive cesium over much of this rural region last March. However, the government inspectors declared Onami?s rice safe for consumption after testing just two of its 154 rice farms.

Then, a few days later, a skeptical farmer in Onami, who wanted to be sure his rice was safe for a visiting grandson, had his crop tested, only to find it contained levels of cesium that exceeded the government?s safety limit. In the weeks that followed, more than a dozen other farmers also found unsafe levels of cesium. An ensuing panic forced the Japanese government to intervene, with promises to test more than 25,000 rice farms in eastern Fukushima Prefecture, where the plant is located.

P.s Lets not forget about Fukushima...Like me, most of you have become somewhat forgetful...this issue is huge and much is yet to be disseminated.

Thanks Ross, this is being swept under the rug. The seaweed they use for sushi is highly radioactive now. It's going across the earth, and is more than likely the DNA upgrade so many are eagerly waiting for. Zombie attack anyone?

Mmm... tasty glow in the dark rice. Maybe they should just export it to China. Aren't they the ones that sold that glow in the dark green neon pork a while ago? (And people there actually BOUGHT it and CONSUMED it. Willingly!)

Swept under the rug...This is as complex and as conspiritual as 911...more so in some ways, due to the nature of non-ongoing information. At least with 911 we had an on-going terrorist agenda and subsequent invasions to keep the appetite and an interest to WTF, along with some serious well put together truth movements on the 911 issue...

Fukushima has the sad but true case of a non-event--in the sense that it does not "require" or impact the globe with continual "necessary" media propaganda to sell the story...the world has accepted the “accident”

Fukushima is one VERY serious situation...hidden from view, non-interest on the most part from the world at large...has little meaning for many and is nicely slipping into oblivion...nothing to see here, all is taken care of...fcukers!

Yep, you are right Ross. Of course I can't make them report anything from Japan. We could do what to stop this outrage that will ravage our planet thus making it just more of a mess and uninhabital building which is what the ptb want because they have a brand new building for us, we just gotta want and demand the change! Oh, they love it when a plan falls into place. Do you think that earthquake was an accident?

I give it a 90/10 probability to Haarp / natural happening. We have some evil bastards in control of some very bad toys.

There is much info in the "Japan" forum here...I cannot be certain, but certainly there is compelling info suggesting human hands were at play.

Re: Japanese Struggle to Protect Their Food Supply

though i believe the earthquake was natural.. the problem with the nuke plant was a time bomb waiting to happen..

there is a lot we are not being told ,,the problem is many japanesse will not realize the true extent until 5 to 10 years down the road when they get a wave of violent agressive cancers that will happen because of the radiation poisoning.

but it is the nuke plant problem with just one plant.. imagine if there was a cull and in the prcess several of these plants melt down because the contorllinfg crews got killed or died of whatever viri that where used to kill populations ..

If th e world falls apart fully .. if the roving band of marauders don't get you the clouds of radiation and various clouds of poison gas will..

Maybe their is radiation in the crops all around the world new stuff that is concidered safe levels.. but how much food with "safe " levels of deadly radiation can you eat before it builds up in your body ..
