One of my favorites. The Cyclope from Jean Tingeley. A monster hidden somewhere in a dark forest south of Paris. Try to find and visit this impressive piece of art: mission impossible.

For those of you who are inclined to investigate such things: There is a magic square, under the bell, in the top right hand area of the print.

Thanks to have started the discussion. In what category should we put this Lights? Ok to move this thread to any more appropriate category.

Your 2nd question is more difficult to answer, while it's hard sometimes to find words to express why. In most cases, I don't know why, but in a very strange way the thing is reasonating. These artworks are magical in the sense that they changed my perceptions, ideas, conscienceness. These objects are like portals to me showing other, new dimensions of reality. Sorry for the confusion, if any.

i asked my 1st question because i stil would like to see if there's going to be any discussion..in that sense i wondered why the general discussion, but as far as i'm concerned you can place it under "consipracy research".."alchemy" or any other..it would fit most...

i like you second response, tho i think it would be nice to have your little comment by each and every of your favourite pieces you uploaded..just to get an idea what element you find "magical".. l

dragonfly, i find your comment mean-hearted, small minded, ill-humoured and counter productive...what was the purpose of it if i missed anything? thank you l

Jean Tingeley and his wife Nikki de Saint Phalle, Fabulous. Here an image of the Tarot Garden close to Rome. In the front the rotating mechanics of Jean, in the back the magnificent colorfull nana's from Nikki. In one of the corners of the park the letters TAROT are layed out in a circle, and one can also easily read ROTA, wheel or TORA, law, whatever the meaning of the combination... Anyhow, absolutely worthwhile to visit next time you are in Italy. In addition, it is close to the beach with some very fine Italien restaurants :-)

be interested to hear what anyone thinks about this sculpture, it's very big. As part of my job, I have to check inside every friday and remove any rubbish visitors may have thrown inside from the viewing gallery.
