This is a post by me from another thread ( http://nexus.2012info.ca/forum/showt...-Seconal/page2 ) I'm posting here so as to give it a clearer context.
Just to be super clear here- I have absolutely no issue with Mods/Admins in relation to any privacy issue. This is a genuine question to address my ignorance of such things. Another thing I have noticed is people's distain for Microsoft products- Richard in a recent post ( can't find post now ) stated such. Then I remember Northern Boy posting about a search engine he used that didn't track your searches- again I can't find the post, I really have to start writing all these things down! - but it sounded a valid option- anyone remember that particular post?Originally Posted by Amer
I have the Microsoft package, use Mozilla and as security I have Norton.
Since the beginning of joining first Avalon and then Nexus, I have had so many glitches that at times one gets paranoidI suppose it comes from the increased amount of reading among the myriad of different sites, one place takes you along to somewhere else and I suppose it's only natural to pick up viruses along the way.
What is the best way to protect ones privacy and when we talk of our privacy what is really at stake and what's the best way to address computer security?
Thanks to anyone in advance who wants to help me out
