I guess we will find out just how irrational they are. It seems that China might be the wildcard in the scenario. Surely, they will feel that they have too much at stake to accept Iran's world position as somehow beneficial to them. Nukes don't respect international borders.

I'm holding my breath to see just how cunningly "irrational" we in the West are willing to become. If a Russian carrier fleet were doing constant war gaming right off the west coast of Florida where I live, and threatening airstrikes unless we bow to their every whim, me no thinks we would take too kindly to that. To then hear that any reaction from us what so ever to this threat like sending our own ships out there, or saying "if you do this then we will do that" is sabre rattling and dangerous to the world's stability, would be widely considered absurd.

We've been personally f*****g with Iran and trying to control them since atleast 1953,(Operation Ajax) not the other way around. I really hope a good number of people around the world don't equate all of the American people with the actions of their so called government, for the depths of shame involved is immeasurable.
