Without The Moon, Mankind would not exist!

My way of thinking is the moon is what we have always been told that it is but in recent years my thinking has begun to change. Maybe things are not as we have always thought.
Could it be that there is much more going on then we know about!

Yes, I can vouch for that. I read those noted above while camped out on her website in January while others were occupied by something else??? ) I won't say what the distraction was. But it is very interesting reading and should tell you a lot of things. Many things that I never dreamed of. But there are many things we never dream of because we do not take the time to check things out. Emma

"Without The Moon, Mankind would not exist!"
Yup. Without the moon, there are no tides. No tides means the oceans are not "stirred" or re-oxygenated. Therefore no life in the seas, therefore no life on the planet.

Also, a geosynchronous moon would be the same as no moon at all.

The next time you come across one of the enthusiastic geniuses who wants to mine the moon, you might point this out to them. The hard core mining fans will tell you "we won't mine the moon that much." Yeah, only until we need glasses, right?

Some excerpt from Ingo Swann's book on RV and the moon:

Paragraph 4 is interesting. Given that info, an honest scientist would have to conclude that the moon came from "different stuff" as the earth. Not formed at the same time. Carbon dating also shows the same thing, too.

The moon's gravitational field is very erratic. In the early days, Russia lost a couple orbiters sent to the moon, because they calculated their orbits based upon gravity with a universal strength. These did fine while going around the backside, but when they came around, they crashed into the surface. (Kinda like Wiley Coyote being yanked to the ground by a hidden magnet.)

The mass of the moon's near side is much greater. Large uranium deposits are one reason we always see the same side of the moon.

    Anyway. food for thought,
    Fred

Re: Without The Moon, Mankind would not exist!

I have always been curious about how it is that some objects in space such as the moon are able to reflect so much light when their surfaces appear to be nothing but dirt and rocks while the Earth with all its water appears to reflect little. Can any of our science genuises shed some light as I am completely ingorant on these matters?
